Changing the decorations over the fireplace in every season could be quite a hassle for some of us. Sometimes, I do ask myself, why is it necessary to decorate the fireplace? “Well, it do gives a sense of the beginning of every season,” that’s the usual remark my inner voice would tell me.
My family isn’t really particular about the fireplace. In fact, they don’t care really much about it. So what are the best decorations over the fireplace you might wonder?

I have seen people hanging words of wisdom over their fireplace. It could be the four “L” s in life; live, love, luxury and longevity or something humor; the four “C” s in man; car, cash, career and credit card. Whatever they are, they might help you to get motivated when you’re having Monday blues or at the start of the day.
I like the idea of decorating the fireplace with family photos. It is nostalgic and yet brings back sweet memories as a family.
